36What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul? (Mark 8)
Why does it matter what rank, what position, what level, you're at in life? All your ambitions, all your dreams, everything you hope for in this world amounts to nothing without your soul.
I want to live life in such a way that I have in mind "the things of God" continually. Even if it means that I must be denied what seems to be pleasures of this world, I know that I will be guaranteed a life worth living.

nicely said. sometime i forget all the blessings i have that i don't even deserve, but then i find myself worrying what others think and if my job pays enough. the soul is more important by far.
